Jeannie Oropeza, Program Budget Manager

Jeannie Oropeza is the Program Budget Manager of the Education Systems Unit (K–20). Jeannie has been with the Department of Finance since 1992 and has worked in two units, Capital Outlay and Education Systems. Jeannie also worked in the Legislature for 2 years. While with the Legislature she worked for the Assembly Budget Committee as the Education Budget Consultant for K–12, Community Colleges, and Capital Outlay K-20. Prior to working at the Department of Finance, she worked at the Department of Food and Agriculture, first as an auditor and then as an accounting systems analyst.

Ms. Oropeza received a Bachelor of Science degree from Sacramento State University. She majored in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. In addition, she obtained a minor in Spanish.
